Midget Playoff Standings - 2002

Eight (8) of the fifteen (15) Peewee, Pony and Midget Teams will advance to the CFA Playoffs based on their total points at the end of the regular season.

Scoring System – Standings.

Two (2) points for a win or forfeit.

One (1) point for a tie.

All league games will count in the standings.

Ties.

In case of a tie at the end of regulation season play these guidelines will be used to determine division winners and playoff seeding tie breakers:

(a). Two (2) teams.

1^st-Head to Head. The winner of the game played between the teams in question during regular scheduled play.

2^nd-Winning Percentage. Throw out any ties when calculating.

3^rd-Strength of schedule. Overall points of teams played.

4^th-Quality Wins. Overall points of teams defeated

5^th-Coin Toss.

Three (3) or more teams.

1^st-Head to Head. The winner over both teams.

2^nd-3^rd-4^th-5^th, same as 1(a) excluding 1^st-Head to Head.

As higher teams are placed the remaining teams revert back to first tiebreaker.
